What is Regenerative Medicine?

How Does Regenerative Medicine Work?
The goal of regenerative medicine is to replace or reboot tissues or organs damaged because of disease, injury, age, or other issues instead of treating symptoms with medication and procedures. PRP : Platelet-rich plasma therapy or PRP is a treatment that attempts to take advantage of the blood's natural healing properties. Platelet-rich plasma is taken from a sample of the patient's blood it the office and processed to concentrate plasma. The therapeutic injections contain a higher concentration of platelets than is found in normal blood. Platelets secrete substances called growth factors and other proteins that regulate cell division, stimulate tissue regeneration, and promote healing.
