Dr. Tran was born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. After graduating from Century High School, he attended Portland State University and majored in General Science. He then went on to University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine and his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he wanted to continue his education and obtained the Advanced Certification of Competency from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego, in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology. With this training, he received the most in-depth, science-based training available.The program covers the entire spectrum from the physics of motor vehicle crashes to human biomechanics to diagnostics and management. In 2019, Dr. Tran advanced his Masters of Science in Sports Medicine by obtaining his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physician (ACBSP).

Personal Interests
Dr. Tran is engaged to his fiancee Nhung. Nhung is a Food Scientist with a focus in Research and Development. In his free time, Dr. Tran loves to be outdoors and enjoys activities like hiking, disc golfing, crabbing, clamming. You can also find him trying out the new local restaurants as well.
