Background
Naturopathic medicine offers a whole-body approach to healing. The body’s way of showing imbalance is to create symptoms of disease. As the body adapts to an imperfect environment, it will compensate in what many view as a negative symptom. The goal of naturopathic medicine is to bring the body back into balance rather than suppressing these complaints. This allows our patients to truly heal and live better lives. Our doctors take whatever time is needed to really listen to each patient, discuss symptoms and life factors and holistically heal each individual they see. After all, your body is unique...your healthcare should be too.
Naturopathy has a unique ability to help with all aspects of health. In our Family Practice, our doctors specialize in everything from care for pregnant mothers and prenatal care to newborn and postpartum care, pediatric and youth treatments, all the way to men’s health and women’s health. Whatever stage of life, we are here for you.

What to Expect
Because we treat each patient uniquely, there will always be some variation. However, you can count on our doctors using your first visit to create a foundation for your health goals, an understanding for the process ahead and to set you on the path to optimal health.
This first visit will last 60-75 minutes and includes a thorough evaluation, physical exam, and treatment recommendations targeting the root of your health issues.
Follow ups are generally scheduled every 2-6 weeks while we work together. These 30- to 60-minute visits allow time to discuss symptom changes, new complaints and any questions or concerns. Life is full of changes. Our team can help you plan for what may come – and be ready if anything unexpected occurs. It is our goal to create a supportive and educational patient-doctor partnership so you will feel in control of the health of yourself and your family.

Our Doctors
All Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) attend a 4-year doctorate degree program and are considered primary care physicians by most major health insurance carriers in the state of Oregon. That means our staff can help with most of your health needs – and they focus on you as a whole person instead of a specific symptom.
Our Family Practice team is led by Dr. Emily Gannaway and Dr. Laura Rogers. Dr. Gannaway says “I am a problem solver and I put in the time to figure out the root cause of what is ailing my patients, instead of just putting a band-aid on them.” She specializes in primary care, women’s care (including manual therapy to treat reproductive issues, back pain, and weight loss), and naturopathic pediatric care. Dr. Rogers specializes in family medicine, naturopathic primary care, women's care, gastrointestinal health, and mental health complaints.
